The Power of Social Media: Like and Follow Posts

Social media is a powerful tool. Don't underestimate the influence of Instagram, Facebook, and X. When you like a post or follow a small business account, you show approval and appreciation. Simple likes and comments create conversation and buzz for a business.

While liking a post or following an account might seem simple, it speaks volumes in the digital universe. Followers add credibility and trust. Your likes and comments help build trust and interest. Small businesses appreciate this more than you know.

Buy a Gift Card

If you can't shop during Small Business Saturday, consider purchasing a gift card from a store or business. Use it later when you need to purchase an item in the future. Gift cards add to a store's profit margins. And, yes, even a small gift card purchase helps a small business!

Spread the Good Word!

Do you love a local business? Tell a friend, a relative, a stranger. Tell anyone who will listen. Word-of-mouth recommendations are powerful. If you received excellent service at a business, tell others about it. Small businesses thrive because of referrals and word-of-mouth business.
