Bryan Kesting Reelected as Board of Director for National Wooden Pallet and Container Association

The Madison County Wood Products team participated in the annual leadership conference at the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association. The election took place in 2021, and Bryan will serve on the board in 2022, 2023, and 2024. On March 15th, 2022, Bryan Kesting of MCWP will continue his position as a member of the board of directors just as he did in his previous term, 2019 to 2021.

The National Wooden Pallet and Container Association organizes the complex wood packaging industry with 600 members from 28 countries. We appreciate their priority of using wood as an economical, environmentally, and sustainable product that benefits society. Overall, the foundation of their services to the pallet community includes research, the Pallet Design System, Nature's Packaging, educational outreach, and safety.

Bryan's active role as a board member involves meeting with the other board members periodically throughout the year. They discuss how to best serve the members of the NWPCA. Meetings include but are not limited to sustainability, automation, and the Pallet Design System; their duties not only benefit the members directly involved but it also gives the wood packaging industry a voice as a whole.

“Serving on the board and working for the best interest of our members is an honor and privilege,” Bryan Kesting. Kesting is the vice president of sales at the Chesterfield location of Madison County Wood Products. As a second-generation co-owner of the family-run business, he proudly represents the culture, values, and mission.

“I look forward to collaborating with other board members,” Kesting states. “When you know everyone has the same end in mind, it makes it easier to work together for the betterment of our industry, customers, the community, and the environment,” Kesting.

Madison County Wood Products supports the NWPCA in their endeavors to utilize wood as a highly-valued resource and their conviction to aid the community within the wood industry. Our company relies on their expertise to always be an informative guide to the latest updates regarding technology, packaging, and any governmental affairs affecting our industry. Their software, Pallet Design System, grants MCWP an opportunity to manufacture reliable and technologically advanced wooden pallets.

As an existing member of the NWPCA, we advocate for building awareness around the benefits of wooden pallets versus other pallets on the market. Our company bases its foundation on similar principles to the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association. We commit to steering our company to act with honesty, respect, and integrity, putting God as our foundation. We continuously exploit ourselves as good stewards of forest resources, providing exceptional wood products that positively impact the world.

Congratulations to Bryan Kesting as he continues his role within the wooden pallet community. We look forward to his involvement as a member of the board of directors.
